It all started during a vacation with his family to Singapore, where the buzz and excitement of the Hotel Industry found him completely enraptured and enthralled. The innovation and creativity that chefs brought to every dish they prepared got him thinking and slowly but surely the dream of becoming a pilot began to recede.
Chef Sahil was in awe of how the chefs ‘made the foods come to life’ and wanted to learn the nuances of cooking and implement this creativity into his own cooking. Today, he enjoys the challenge of coming up with innovative menu concepts. He uses his creativity and expert culinary skills to create recipes that are not only delicious and full of flavour and richness but tingle the taste buds of the connoisseur.
He instinctively felt drawn to the kitchen and his enthusiasm for food inspired him to attend a formal culinary school.
Chef Sahil loves to read about the success stories of renowned chefs across the globe and innovative cooking techniques. He accentuates the fact that ‘A positive mind automatically creates a positive environment’; however he firmly believes that ‘One charts ones future’ - Surely food for thought!
